Shipping Details

Quality Bus & Truck Parts specializes in used bus and truck parts.
All used parts are inspected prior to shipment; however, normal wear, discoloration, scratches, surface rust, cosmetic imperfections, and signs of previous use should be expected unless otherwise noted.
Product photos are intended to represent the part being sold whenever possible. Due to inventory turnover and multiple similar items in stock, the part received may vary slightly from the photos shown.
If you have questions about a part’s condition before purchasing, please contact our sales team.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all vehicle sales are final and sold as-is.
Any applicable warranty coverage will be disclosed at the time of sale.
Customers are encouraged to inspect vehicles and ask questions prior to purchase.

Quality Bus & Truck Parts ships used bus parts, truck parts, engines, transmissions, and vehicles throughout the United States and internationally.

Most in-stock orders placed before 2:30 PM Central Time ship the same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff will ship the next business day.

Weekend & Holiday Orders

Orders placed on weekends or company holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Large, Oversized, or Fragile Items

Some items, including glass, fuel tanks, body panels, engines, transmissions, and other oversized products, may require additional packaging and handling time. If additional processing time is needed, our team will contact you.

Shipping Charges

Shipping costs displayed during checkout are typically accurate; however, certain oversized, heavy, fragile, or specialty items may require additional shipping charges. If an adjustment is necessary, our team will contact you before processing your order.

Shipping Address Requirements

Please provide a complete and valid shipping address during checkout.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • Additional shipping charges may apply.
  • Our team will contact you to verify the address before reshipping.

If you notice an address error after placing your order, call us immediately at 800-328-2448, and we will do our best to update the shipment before it leaves our facility.

Order Accuracy

Shipping errors, shortages, and discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

International Shipping

We ship bus and truck parts worldwide.

For international shipping quotes or orders, please call 800-328-2448.

International customers are responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, customs fees, brokerage fees, VAT, GST, tariffs, and any other charges assessed by their country or local authorities. These fees are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges paid to Quality Bus & Truck Parts.

Quality Bus & Truck Parts is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes or for any additional fees imposed after shipment.

United Kingdom Customers: An EORI (Economic Operators Registration and Identification) number is required before shipment.

Our free shipping programs apply to qualifying orders shipped within the continental United States.

Order Requirements

  • Orders shipped to Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois may qualify for free shipping on orders of $75 or more.
  • Orders shipped to the rest of the continental United States may qualify for free shipping on orders of $350 or more.
  • A free shipping option will automatically appear at checkout when an order qualifies.

Excluded Items

Some products do not qualify for free shipping due to their size, weight, fragility, or special handling requirements. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Engines
  • Transmissions
  • Axles
  • Fuel tanks
  • Body panels
  • Glass and windshields
  • Seats
  • Other oversized, fragile, or freight-only items

Orders Containing Excluded Items

If your order contains both qualifying and excluded items, eligible items may ship under the free shipping program. Our team will contact you with shipping options and any additional charges for excluded items before processing the order.

Additional Restrictions

  • Alaska, Hawaii, and international destinations are excluded.
  • LTL (freight) shipments do not qualify for free shipping.
  • Free shipping orders are shipped via standard ground service.
  • Expedited shipping services are available for an additional charge.
  • Promotional free shipping offers are subject to the same exclusions unless otherwise stated.

Return Authorization Required

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before the item is returned.

RMA-approved returns must be received within 30 days of the RMA issue date.

Return Eligibility

  • Stocking items returned within 30 days may be eligible for a refund or credit.
  • Special-order items are generally not eligible for return.
  • Shipping errors must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
  • Warranty claims are exempt from the standard return window and are subject to the applicable warranty period.

Restocking Fees

Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 50%, depending on the item’s condition, supplier policies, and the circumstances of the return.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to an error by Quality Bus & Truck Parts.

Additional Return Policies

  • Returns received without an RMA number may be refused or subject to additional fees.
  • Electrical items that have been installed or plugged in are generally non-returnable unless covered under warranty.
  • Clearance, closeout, and final-sale items are non-returnable.
  • Refunds and exchanges will not be granted for customer-caused ordering errors.
  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

Most used parts sold by Quality Bus & Truck Parts include a 30-day warranty from the date of purchase.

Warranty Coverage

If a part is found to be defective during the warranty period, Quality Bus & Truck Parts may, at its discretion:

  • Replace the part
  • Issue a refund
  • Issue store credit

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Labor costs
  • Diagnostic costs
  • Towing expenses
  • Loss of vehicle use
  • Improper installation
  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Normal wear and tear

Warranty claims must be reported within the applicable warranty period and may require photos, testing, or return of the original part for inspection.

Used engines sold by Quality Bus & Truck Parts include a 90-day warranty unless otherwise stated.

Warranty Coverage

The warranty covers internal engine failures resulting from defects in the engine assembly.

If a warrantable failure occurs during the warranty period, Quality Bus & Truck Parts may, at its discretion:

  • Replace the engine
  • Repair the engine
  • Issue a refund
  • Issue store credit

Required Installation Procedures

To maintain warranty coverage:

  • Install new oil, fuel, and coolant filters.
  • Replace engine oil and coolant.
  • Verify proper cooling system operation.
  • Inspect all sensors, wiring, and related components.
  • Follow manufacturer-recommended installation procedures.

Failure to follow proper installation procedures may void warranty coverage.

Engine Warranty Checklist

A completed installation checklist may be required for warranty claims.

Used transmissions sold by Quality Bus & Truck Parts include a 90-day warranty unless otherwise stated.

If a warrantable failure occurs during the warranty period, Quality Bus & Truck Parts may, at its discretion:

  • Flush or replace transmission coolers and lines.
  • Install new filters and fluids.
  • Verify proper operation of related electrical components.
  • Follow manufacturer-recommended installation procedures.

Transmission Warranty Checklist

A completed installation checklist may be required for warranty claims.

Certain engines, transmissions, and other components may include a refundable core charge.

Core Return Requirements

  • Core returns must be approved by Quality Bus & Truck Parts.
  • Cores must be returned within the required timeframe.
  • Cores must be complete and rebuildable unless otherwise specified.
  • Core returns must be properly drained and prepared for shipment.

Core Charges & Fees

The following fees may apply when core return requirements are not met:

  • POD (Proof of Drainage) Fee: $200
  • Missing or Damaged Skid Fee: $100
  • EPA Fluid Disposal Fee: $75

Additional charges may apply if the core is damaged, incomplete, or rejected by the rebuilder.

Core refunds will be processed after inspection and approval.

Damaged Shipments Must Be Reported Within 4 Days of Delivery

We take great care when packaging your order, but occasionally damage can occur during transit. If your shipment arrives damaged, please contact us within 4 days of delivery so we can assist you.

Hidden Damage (No Visible Package Damage)

If you discover damage after opening your package:

  1. Keep the item and all original packaging materials.
  2. Take photos of the damaged item and packaging.
  3. Contact Quality Bus & Truck Parts within 4 days of delivery.
  4. Our team will review the claim and provide instructions for the next steps.

Depending on the situation, we may request additional photos, arrange for the item to be returned, or have the carrier inspect the shipment.

Once the claim is approved, we will provide a replacement item or issue a refund if a replacement is not available.


Visible Package Damage

If your shipment arrives with obvious damage to the box or packaging:

  1. Inspect the shipment before accepting delivery whenever possible.
  2. If allowed by the carrier, open the package and inspect the contents.
  3. If the product is damaged—or if inspection is not permitted—refuse the shipment and notify the carrier that the package is being refused due to damage.
  4. Take photos of the damaged package before it leaves your location.
  5. Contact Quality Bus & Truck Parts as soon as possible and provide the photos.

Our team will work quickly to process the claim and arrange a replacement shipment when applicable.


Important Notes

  • Damage claims reported more than 4 days after delivery may be denied by the carrier.
  • Please do not discard the damaged item or packaging until the claim has been resolved.
  • Photos of the damaged item and packaging are often required to process a claim.
  • Replacement items and refunds are subject to claim verification and, when applicable, carrier approval.
  • Please inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery, especially oversized, fragile, and glass items.
